The name Kallergon, with its archaic character, pays tribute to its owner, Kallergos Voulgarakis, who was born and raised in this very region. Our estate is the result of “kalla erga” — beautiful works — that bring the essence of Cretan hospitality and tradition to the modern traveler. 

The symbolism of our logo is a tribute to Minoan script and the Phaistos Disc.
The central circular emblem is inspired by the Minoan alphabet, where the shape of the cross represents the syllable “KA,” the first sound of the word “Kallérgon.” 
• The design also honors the Phaistos Disc, one of Crete’s most significant archaeological discoveries.
The decorative details surrounding the cross echo the symbols found on the Disc, reinforcing the connection to Minoan writing and history.
Additionally, natural elements characteristic of Crete’s landscape have been woven into the design:
Spirals symbolizing pure air and a sense of freedom, and flowing lines reminiscent of waves and rays of sunlight — a reflection of the island’s sea and light.
